Competitive intelligence for investors
Diligence on any company in an hour. Every number says how we know it.
Every Signal's research agents take a company and a question (is the revenue claim real, how do they get customers, who actually competes) and come back with a sourced teardown: traffic, ads, tracking stack, pricing, revenue math, competitors and the rules that apply. Then we watch the companies you care about and tell you when they change.
Public sources only. No logins, no scraping behind paywalls, no payments to the company being studied.
The four tags
Most research blends what was measured with what was guessed. Every figure in an Every Signal report carries one of four tags, so you know what you can put in an investment memo and what needs a call.
What's in a teardown
- The verdict first. Three paragraphs that answer your question, before any detail.
- How they get customers. Every active ad in Meta's, Google's and TikTok's ad libraries, landing pages, SEO, integrations and partner channels.
- What's running on the site. A logged-out browser scan matched against 250+ tracking, ad, attribution, affiliate and analytics tools, with pixel and account IDs. You see what they measure and where they spend.
- Funnel and pricing. What a new customer sees from first visit to payment, trial terms, card-up-front or not, plan prices.
- The revenue sanity check. Traffic, conversion, pricing and ad spend reconciled into a range, tested against the claim you gave us.
- Competitors and the graveyard. Who else does it, what they charge, who shut down and why.
- Rules that bite. Platform terms, privacy and sector rules that affect the business.
- Every source, linked. Plus the raw scan data as JSON.
Quick teardowns take about an hour. Deep teardowns add an app teardown (the Android build, decompiled to see its ad and analytics SDKs), live ad-click tracing and follow-up passes where evidence conflicts.

Watch the companies you care about
Add portfolio companies and their competitors to a watchlist. Every week we re-scan each site's tracking stack, pricing page and Meta ads, and email you only what changed.
Pricing changes, a new attribution or affiliate tool, an ad push, a product renamed: the early signals that usually show up in a board deck a quarter later.
Every Signal · competitor.com changed this week
- New on site: Impact (affiliate), TikTok Pixel
- Pricing page now says: Pro $29/mo · Team $49/user/mo
- Pricing page no longer says: Pro $19/mo

How we work
- Public sources only: the company's own pages, ad libraries, app stores, filings, press and third-party traffic tools.
- A fresh, logged-out browser for every scan. We never sign in to a company's product with real credentials or pay it.
- Apps are analysed statically. We don't run them against the company's servers, and any keys we find are redacted.
- Reports are private links, not indexed. Your questions and watchlist are never shared with other customers.
Book a pilot
Tell us a company you're looking at this month. We'll run the teardown, walk you through it, and set up a watchlist for your portfolio.
Every Signal is built by Mike Jones, co-founder of Science Inc., and started as his own research tool for deals.
Questions
Who is it for?
Investors and the people who work for them: VC and PE deal teams, family offices, corporate development and strategy, bankers. Anyone who needs to know what a company is actually doing, fast.
How accurate is it?
Exactly as accurate as its tags say. Verified figures were seen directly and are linked. Estimates come from third-party tools that can be off by a factor of two, and we say so. Inferred figures show the math.
Is it legal to research a company this way?
We only use information the company publishes or that public tools report: their pages, their public ads and app listings, filings and press. We don't bypass logins, paywalls or bot protection.
How fast is a report?
Quick teardowns usually land within a few hours of the request (the work itself takes about an hour). Deep teardowns take up to a day.
Can I share reports?
Yes, inside your firm and with co-investors. Each report is a private link.
